Youtube news!

I just recieved a couple of emails from Youtube, saying that i have to delete a large ammount of vidoes or else they will delete my channel. This didn`t come as a surprice to me, but it still sucks. I did start up a new account on Dailymotion a couple of months ago, and after Christmas and New Years i`m going to start posting vidoes again. So if there are any shows, videos or songs that you want to save on your computer i suggest you do that in the next couple of days.
I will start deleting vidoes starting today, if you already can`t find some of them feel free to email me on mopsiha15@gmail.com and i will re-upload that song or show on Dailymotion starting Christmas.
Sorry about this guys, but i really don`t have another choice here. They will either delete my account completly or sue me. Non of those things are on my wish list to say the least. Again, if you have any questions email me on mopsiha15@gmail.com or send me a message on FB to Maria Crocetti.

A: I don´t think there is just one. Dean Martin, Sinatra, Crosby, Perry Como.

A: Because it really confuses the heck out of the porcupines!

A: There will be no screaming for sure! Just act like i normally do, maybe ask a coupe of questions, shake his hand or something? :p

Q: Why did you stop posting videos on your channel?

A: Blame it on YT!!! They block just about every single thing i post. But i´ll start posting again now that i have a dailymotion account.

Q: What programs do you use to edit your videos?
A: iMovie believe it or not. FinalCut Pro if i have time.

Q: Why Apple?
A: Hipsters use apple :p

Did you stop being a loyal Dean Martin fan, because you post so much "modern" music and only Frank Sinatra?
A: I like other music too, be that dubstep, rock, classical or whatnot. It´s nice to have something to choose from when it comes to music :)

Q: Will you keep doing this forever?
A: I´m guessing that we are talking about blog and FB? I don´t know, i will keep on going until it´s no longer fun and the whole processes becomes just like a job.

Q: What did you think about Tony Bennet´s new album with Lady Gaga?
A: Never liked him, don´t like his voice. Lady Gaga can sing, i knew that already. But this isn´t her style. So i don´t hate or love it really.

Rat Pack legacy lives on in the heart of California.

California, L.A... Sun, skaters and surfers in Venice and Santa Monica, Hollywood...
All these things and more are what California is all about. But if you are lucky and know your way around here, you might meet some very interesting people and i`m not talking about Hollywood stars...But... Not to brag or anything, but i did sit right next to that NipTuck guy at Dominick`s, just saying. Not the point here lol.

3 weeks spend in California, including 2 days in Vegas, and now i`m back home. People keep asking me what is the best memory i have from my trip? Natural answer would be surfing, relaxing, perfect weather, night clubs and what not. Wrong.

You see when you are 19 years, living in Norway and you like music like Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Sammy Davis Jr and Frank Sinatra there are not too many people who share your taste in music, or even know who the hell Frank Sinatra is for that matter. So you get used to just saying "i like older music" and changing the subject, so that you won`t have to go into whole discussion about things like: "But wait, isn`t he dead?!?" or "My grandma liked that sort of music you know!". Don`t get me wrong, i`m not saying that my taste music is like a strange family member that everybody tries to hide and not talk about at all times. It`s just not something that one can chat about over a cup of coffee with friends, and it`s not like anybody will ask to put on some Bing Crosby and party like it`s 1950.

But here is the thing about L.A, it`s much more than just half-naked guys skating in Venice or Paris Hilton look alike`s. There are people and places that still have that special little thing that`s getting harder to find. Memories of Dean, Rat Pack, mob connections that Frank had, house parties that Martin family used to have, school pals of Ricci that remember seeing Mr. Martin opening the door.
You see people making comments online about Dean, and you never see anything bad being said about him right? And you might not think too much about it. But when people stand right in front of you, smiling and thinking back in time, remembering that one time they met Dean, or the time they came over to visit one of Martin kids and Dean was goofing around you really get it. That there are honestly only good stories about that man.

L.A is filled with places where Rat Pack spirit is still around. Capitol Records, Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Dominick`s. But non of those things come even close to actually hearing these stories, personal stories that you won`t find in any book or blog.
Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin seem to be two names that can open an unending box filled with stories, memories in L.A.

Graffiti filled Hollywood seems to have honored Dean and Frank as well as other starts in their own way. Old Cadillac`s driving on Santa Monica Blvd. blasting "Summer Wind", "That`s Amore" and "More".
L.A is a lot of things, but it`s also a place where you can still feel that special vibe that is a part of Rat Pack legacy. Because you see, it`s not just about music or movies they made. It`s about people who maybe met them only once, but remember that day for the rest of their life because of impression that Dean and Frank left on them.

I guess all i`m trying to say here is even after being in Capitol Records, touching Dean&Frank`s hand prints and standing in their footprints (Dean`s are huuge btw!), driving past Sinatra or Dean`s house, nothing even get`s close to be able to hear stories and memories.
